GCSE’s are the foundation of our Sixth former’s journey to university. We meticulously prepare our students for these exams to build their subject knowledge and study skills. We know it’s a crucial time in their life at GSAL as these are the first major exams our students will face.
This summer our Year 11 students gained excellent grades at GCSE:
- 35.6% of students achieved A*
- 72.6% of students achieved A*/A
- 99.2% of students achieved A* -C
GSAL pupils also achieved outstanding results in a number of subjects with an 80 per cent pass rate at A* and A in mathematics, 68 per cent at A* and A in English literature and in English language, 85 per cent in geography and 77 per cent in religious studies.
